Datorită conținutului scăzut de alcool, “berea” de ghimbir este o băutură foarte apreciată de copii britanici. Dean Madden de la Centrul Național pentru Educație în Biotehnologie (eng. “National Centre for Biotehnology Education”), Universitatea din Reading, Marea Britanie, prezintă rețeta lui pentru introducerea tinerilor studenți a principiilor fermentației, igienei alimentelor și biochimiei respirației.

Piwo imbirowe zawiera bardzo mało alkoholu. Z tego powodu jest ono bardzo popularne wśród brytyjskiej młodzieży. Dean Madden z Krajowego Centrum Nauki Biotechnologii, Uniwersytet Reading w Anglii poda nam swój własny, sprawdzony przepis na ten napój. Wykorzystuje on go, gdy chce wytłumaczyć swoim uczniom na czym polega proces fermentacji lub jak dbać o higienę w kuchni.

Because of its low alcohol content, ginger ‘beer’ is a popular drink with British children.
