I am trying to find courses for a student who would like to teach Agric Science as a subject at secondary level. Apart from the recognised one from UCD, DN004/DN010 does any one know of others? I have checked the relevant 'Courses approved for the purposes of Registration as a Post Primary Teacher' and this document lists UCC, NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth and the Athlone IT as having courses approved to teach this subject BUT I can't find the relevant undergraduate courses that would allow my student to follow on with the H Dip. Can any one help? I have contacted some of the individual colleges but they seem to be in the dark as well about the eligibility of their supposed'approved' courses. any suggstions would be useful.
